MANUFACTURING
Where Innovation Meets Integrity
From Plant to Package: Inside Our Dhaka Facility
Every Sustorra bag begins as raw plant material and becomes packaging that protects products—then returns to earth. Here’s how we make it happen.
SECTION 1: OUR FACILITY
Made in Dhaka with Pride
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Dhaka represents the future of sustainable packaging in Bangladesh.
Facility Highlights:
- Modern biodegradable processing equipment
- Quality control laboratory
- Eco-friendly operations
- Safe, well-lit working conditions
- Capacity: 5 million+ bags monthly
SECTION 2: THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS
How We Make Biodegradable Bags
Step 1: Raw Material Quality Check
Every batch of plant-based material is tested before entering production:
- Purity verification
- Moisture content analysis
- Quality certification
- Contamination screening
We only use 100% biodegradable raw materials. No shortcuts.
Step 2: Film Extrusion
The polymer is melted and extruded into thin, uniform film:
- Precise temperature control
- Thickness consistency
- Width uniformity
- Continuous quality monitoring
Every meter is checked for quality.
Step 3: Custom Printing
For custom orders, bags are printed with:
- Eco-friendly biodegradable inks
- Full-color logo and branding
- Sharp, durable graphics
- Food-safe printing process
Your brand on sustainable packaging.
Step 4: Bag Formation
Film is formed into bags using heat-sealing:
- Shopping bags: Side-seal and bottom-seal
- Garbage bags: Bottom-seal with drawstring
- Courier bags: Adhesive closure application
- Garment bags: Zipper attachment
Seals are tested for strength on every production run.
Step 5: Quality Control
Every batch undergoes rigorous testing:
- Tear resistance testing
- Weight capacity verification
- Seal strength testing
- Visual inspection
- Thickness measurement
- Random biodegradation testing
Only perfect products leave our facility.
Step 6: Packaging & Shipping
Approved products are:
- Counted and packaged
- Labeled with specifications
- Prepared for delivery
- Stored in optimal conditions
From our facility to your business in days, not weeks.
SECTION 3: QUALITY ASSURANCE
Testing Every Step
We Don’t Just Make Bags. We Guarantee Them.
Raw Material Testing: 100% of incoming material batches tested
In-Process Testing: Continuous monitoring during production
Final Product Testing: Random sampling from every production run
Long-Term Testing: Regular biodegradation verification
What We Test:
✓ Tensile strength (resistance to pulling)
✓ Tear resistance (how much force to rip)
✓ Puncture resistance (sharp object testing)
✓ Weight capacity (load testing)
✓ Seal integrity (leak testing)
✓ Thickness uniformity
✓ Biodegradation rate
✓ Material composition
✓ Safety (BPA, heavy metals, toxicity)
